Chex Cereal is Awesome!

So this past year the cereal “Chex” by General Mills, became gluten-free and it, I must say, is amazing. Until this discovery I tried the “special” cereals they sold at different health food stores, and recently in some grocery stores. But they were very disappointing compared to regular gluten filled cereals, all nice and full of taste. These gluten free cereals were very much lacking in taste, and resembled card board, even if one cereal were some sort of puffs and the other almost like rice krispies (but not) still all tasted the exact same.

So to my surprise “Chex” became gluten free, and remembering that I used to eat and like chex it was wonderful to take a bite and taste a real cereal again, not the cardboard taste! First I tried the “Corn Chex” cereal, which was good. But then the other day in Target I found Chex in a Honey Nut flavor…and I would have to say it’s the best cereal I have ever tasted. “Life” used to be my favorite Gluten cereal, but after trying these honey nut chex, I have changed my mind, they are truely awesome! And the great thing is, Chex comes in many different flavors, now I have only tried so far the “Corn Chex” and “honey nut” flavored.  After checking out chex.com, they have a wonderful section on their gluten free products. I found out they have six different flavors, including: Corn Chex, Honey Nut Chex, Rice Chex, Chocolate Chex, Cinnamon Chex, and even a Strawberry Chex. I personally have only seen the corn, rice and honey nut, but would love to find out where they sell the others, especially the chocolate ones.
