New York City
I love New York City. I was proposed to there, I have very good memories in the city. When my husband and I lived on the East Coast we would take a bus up there for the whole day and walk around enjoying the sights and shops. The first time we went we got lost and ended up finding this little gluten free restaurant called Risotteria. The first time we stopped in we got their pizza (first time I actually ordered something gluten free in a restaurant) and it was delicious. The crust was thick like a real pizza, I don’t think I had tasted a pizza that good before. The next time we were in NYC it was for my birthday, I was pretty excited to get pizza. However, we did not know you had to ask for it to be “thick crust” and instead it was the “thin” New York Style pizza. So if you want it to be a thick pizza, be sure to ask for it specially (since it is not listed on the menu). Also when you are seated, you get a glass of gluten free bread sticks, which also are delicious.
You will have a wide selection to choose from. I tried their gluten free cookies (very big cookie) and you can buy their mixes. I bought some of their pizza mix, which was very good when I got around to making it (quite a bit later I might add- and it was still good).
